On May 22, Lecturer BEEDASSY from Mauritius National Institute of Education who came to our university to participate in the seminar of modern remote education in African English-speaking countries, and Mr. MUASYA, Chief Quality and Standard Assurance Officer of the Ministry of Education of Kenya, visited our university accompanied by the staff of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of our university.

Secretary Pang Jincai of the Physical Education College organized a symposium, received the guests, and had cordial and friendly conversations. At the symposium, the Lecturer BEEDASSY consulted on admission, student cultivation, and the training and competitions of sports teams. Mr. MUASYA, Chief Quality and Standards Assurance Officer of the Ministry of Education of Kenya, learned about topics such as student employment, curriculum system construction, and distance education for sports majors in our college. Sun Ru, Deputy Dean of the college, Associate Professor Guo Yulian, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Theory Course Teaching and Research Office, and two African guests conducted in-depth exchanges on the related issues mentioned. The two African guests expressed their sincere gratitude for the warm hospitality of the college, and hoped to have deeper exchanges and interactions with our college in the future, and extended invitations to the teachers and students of our college to visit Mauritius and Kenya. Besides, they also hoped to have the opportunity to send outstanding talents to study in our college, and enhance the cooperation and exchanges between the two sides in the field of sports.

Secretary Pang expressed his gratitude to the university and the International Cooperation and Exchange Office for providing opportunities of foreign exchanges for the Physical Education College. Also, he expressed sincere wishes to the two African guests, hoped that they could send the regards of the Physical Education College of Jilin University to their teachers and students, and welcomed more sports talents from African countries to visit our college to enhance China-Africa friendship and promote common progress.

After the conference, Lecturer BEEDASSY and Mr. MUASYA visited the gymnasium in the central campus.

Professor Sun Ru, Deputy Dean of the Physical Education College, Associate Professor Guo Yulian, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Theory Course Teaching and Research Office, and Yang Changming, Liaison Officer for Foreign Affairs accompanied them to the symposium.
